Great Fun, 2008-02-27 I've had this popcorn maker for about six years and it has only just packed in (which isn't bad considering the temperature it must have to reach - and most small kitchen appliances don't last that long). So now I want a new one but it isn't available on amazon at the minute. no popcorn for me.

AVOID AVOID AVOID, 2010-04-09 This has to be the biggest waste of money I have ever spent.
Not only does it look cheap and tacky, which is apparent as soon as you open the box and see the plastic poorly made machine and the even more cheaply made fake buttons, but it is also totally and utterly useless at popping the corn.
After the machine kicks in with its groaning and whirling noises, 'some' of the popcorn gets popped. You are then left with about a 3rd of your kernals popped and the rest of them you will find piled up underneath.
You can only use the machine once before it over heats and cuts out, which leaves you with barely more than a handful, no good for sharing between kids.
All in all I am totally dissatisfied with this item and if the store was close enough, id of promptly returned it for a full refund.
My advise is avoid at all costs.
